Core Accountabilities:
1. Lead the initiatives assuring The Brand’s sustainability strategy (including efforts with not only sustainability but supplier working conditions (SWC) and environmental, health & safety (EHS) management).
2. Drive and execute the brand’s 2025-2030 Sustainability goals and roadmap, working cross-functionally with key stakeholders.
3. Engage closely with our stakeholders whose programs focus on responsible materials and treatments, climate and energy, waste and circularity, ethical production, safety & Health, and human rights, worker well-being.
4. Leverage internal and external data sources for data-driven sustainability and social impact decision-making, reporting, system development, metrics, and KPIs to drive progress toward goals, streamline related data collection and reporting, facilitate communication around the progress to goals, and elevate risks and opportunities.
5. Assesses and analyzes company policies and processes to identify areas and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organization’s commitment to sustainability.
6. Implements EHS and supplier working conditions governance systems as well as balance business obligations with the goal of respecting, supporting, and improving the local and global environments.
7. Evaluates the efficacy of sustainability/EHS/Working conditions programs; recommend and implement improvements as necessary.
8. Drafts and prepares reports, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to related key stakeholders.
9. Maintains current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all applicable laws and regulations.
10. Lead the development and implementation of related training, and employee engagement initiatives.
11. Manage our partnerships with sustainability/SWC enterprises.
12. Influence the development of The Brand Sustainability & SWC/EHS KPI’s and manage implementation accordingly.
